Pokemon allows teachers to engage learners in a range of KLA's. For example, all Pokemon games can be incorporated into a science unit about habitats, and lifestyles of an animal. Learning about Pokémon in relation to real life animals to promote thought provoking and engaging discussions and reflections. using Pokemon in education contexts can be extended to reading, math, art, computers, writing and social studies. Pokemon even taps in to knowledge of cultures. It can be used to illustrate the process of globalisation, interculutral understandings, ethical understandings as well as the development of personal and social capabilities.
